Zone Anahuac

Hey Fam,

Wow this week was pretty wild. So I had changes, I am one of the zone leaders in the zone Anahuac. My comp is from the North, Coahuila. His name is Elder Lugo and he has 6 months in the mish, he really is a great guy. We opened the area so we worked pretty hard looking for new people to teach. The zone is really great too, everyone has less than 1 year except for me and two other Elders. So we are all going to learn a lot together. 

Working in the area was great this week, we had a lot of really great experiences. My area is in a different part of Mexico, its in the State and not the DF. The state is a whole lot different but I love it a lot. Its a little weird being so far from the temple but I really do love the people here. We also had our zone activity today which was a lot of fun. We played water balloon volleyball and had a piñata. It was a fun time hanging out and getting to know the zone. 

The work is great, this past week all I did was teach out of the Book of Mormon. There are a lot of people in this area with a lot of time with those missionaries. I didn't really know what else they needed so I just started testifying and teaching out of the Book of Mormon. I know without of doubt that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have seen it change the lives of so many people here and in my own life too. Reading the it has helped me so much in my mish feel God's love and receive answer to all the questions I have had. I know thats its the only things that can help these people in this time and I have all the faith in the world that they will grow a love for this Book and receive their own testimony of its truthfulness.

¡One Year!

Hey,

Well this week went by super fast, I guess thats everyday in the mission. Im learning a lot and I am loving everyday. 

This week we were in intercambios everyday which was cool. I got to work with a bunch of new zone leaders and learn a lot of from them. I think the best thing I have learned in my time here as AP is how to apply the Atonement to every little thing in your life. Ive learned when we forget ourselves and only think of others and our Savior Jesus Christ we can literally do whatever the Lord wants us to do. So when all the zone leaders asked me for tips this week I just told them that, forget yourselves and focus on the Lord. 

The Gospel is so great, its literally my joy. I completed one year in the mish this week and i am so excited for this next year. I am so excited for more challenges and trials that way I can better rely on the Savior in every moment. 

Keep working hard everyone, I love you all so much. This Church is True and it changes lives, dont every forget that! :)

El Ángel

Hey Fam,

Hey whats up everyone, I hope all has been well. This morning was pretty cool because i got to take a couple missionaries to the embassy for the US that just so happens to be right next to El Angel de Independencia. Its outside our mission so i didn't think i would ever see it but I got lucky because I had to take these Elders. 

Well these week was really good. We had leadership council which was pretty fun. It was my last one as AP which was pretty crazy but I really enjoyed it. Also we had some changes during the week with some of the zone leaders. Those are so great because i get to learn so much from them. My comp and I have been working really hard, we are hoping to see some of the blessings before the cycle ends. 

The mission is so great and it just makes me so happy. I love sharing the gospel with every person that i meet wether it be in the streets, on buses or in a taxi. I love sharing the gospel because it makes me act by faith. Every time that we act by faith we feel the spirit a little bit more stronger and the stronger you feel the spirit the better you feel. Its just so amazing, I hope you all can look for one simple way this week to share the gospel so you can feel this same spirit.
