Love It!

Hey Fam,

Well this past week was pretty crazy but a lot of great things happened.

Our mission president, President Anaya and his wife are finishing their mission this week. Honestly its really hard to see them go, they are so great. I have learned so much from them this past year in a half, I still cant believe the time has come. On Wednesday we got together with them and we shared our testimonies, it was a really great experience. After I had an interview with President Anaya. It was so awesome, I was able to thank him for everything he has done for me. He told me some really great things and he even said that it wouldnt surpries him if the new mission president made me AP again. Jaja I know that wont happen but its nice to know he still looks at me as an AP. I really love President a lot, one of the greatest things he taught me is how to love everyone and how to teach using the Book of Mormon.

Sunday Kelly, Keyla, and Samuel got baptised. My first day here in the area we contacted a door because we got locked in a building. We me their mom Claudia and we were able to put another appointment with them. They have been passing through a lot of problems but the have been going to church every week since that first week and they really love the gospel. Claudia wasnt able to get baptised because she has to get divorced which is kind of a long process. But she told us that she wanted her kids to get baptised and they were so excited. It was cool because my first day here in the area my comp and I prayed for a new family to teach and then we found them. The kids were so happy after the baptism and so was their mom. We really love them a lot. The best part is that The Lord really prepared them to hear the gospel :)

Honestly this past month really flew by, we have been finding really great people who the Lord has prepared for us to teach. I love the power of prayer. I know the Lord answers our prayers and that when we asked for help and guidance He will lead us and help us. I really love the mission and all the great people here in Mexico.

Big Things

Hey fam,

Just want to give a shout out to my Dad, Happy Fathers Day!! I love you so much and I am so gratuful that the Lord blessed me with such and amazing example, friend, and Dad. I love you tons and I hope you had a great day yesterday. This week was super great, we have been working so hard here in the area and we are really seeing a lot of blessings.

My comp and I have been praying a lot to find families to teach and to find the people the Lord has already prepared to hear the message. This week we found a family of 5 people and 2 other people also. It was so awesome because they are so ready to hear the gospel. We had 13 investigators in church on sunday and we are hoping for more next week. Its been really fun working here in the area because after being AP and white washing two areas back to back I have honestly learned so much. So this past couple of weeks have been appyling all that I have learned and its been so cool to see the area grow so much. I am so grateful for all that the Lord has taught me here in the mission, I think the best thing have learned is just have faith in Him and all the things will work out. Honestly we are teaching some really great people here in its been so great seeing the Lord open so many doors for us.

Im really grateful for all your support and for your letters too. I love you all tons and I just want to invite you all to put all your trust in the Lord this weak because He is perfect and He can't fail us.

Faith

Hey Fam,

Well this week went by pretty fast. I am finally adjusting to my new area and my comp. He is a really funny guy, he works really hard too. Things have been going really good here, we are starting to see a lot of blessings.

Yesterday we had the baptism of Irving and it went so great. At first he told us that his family wasnt going to come, but when he showed up his whole family came too. It was a really cool experience, they all really enjoyed the service. Before the baptism we started to fill up the fount, as it started to fill up the water started to come out grean. Then about at half way it stopped coming out...so my comp and I had to start to fill it up with buckets. But thanks to a little elbow grease and bleach it all turned out great :) jaja

Something that I have been sharing with my zone this past week is not to have fear to pray and put goals with the Lord. I have realized that sometimes we are afraid to put goals with the Lord because we are afraid to fail, we dont want to push ourselves, or sometimes its because we dont have the faith we need to achieve them. I really love 2 Nephi 25:23 because it shows us even after giving it all we got we are still going to fall short because we are imperfect. But thanks to the grace of God that comes through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can be saved or achieve our goal. So the best thing to do is pray to the Lord and ask Him what goals He wants you to put, than after give it all you got trusting in the saving grace of the atonement and you will achieve your goal. Alma 37:37 tells us to consult with the Lord in all your works and Alma 37:17 tells us he will complete his promes because He has done it before.

I really love ths Gospel because it has given me a different perspective in my life. I know this Gopsel is true and it truly does save peoples lives. I know that our Father in Heaven loves us so much and I know that His work and glory is to truly bring to pass eternal life for every single one of His children.

I hope you all have a great week, I am really grateful for all your support :) I know I am terrible at responding to letters, I am trying to get better at that.

Trees

Hey fam,

Well the caption says trees because the last four in a half months I didn't really see too many. But here in my new area there are a lot more, honestly when it rains here I feel like I am in Seattle.

This past week went by really great, my comp is a really great guy. I am excited to learn a lot from him. My first day in the area we contacted a family of 5 people and they accepted another appointment. So we started to visit them and they are doing so great, they actually all went to Church on Sunday and they loved it. So we are pretty pumped about that. We have two other people that also went to church this week who are super great too. I love how the Lord just prepares the path for us and if we just follow it He place the blessings right in front of us.

We had are zone activity today and it went pretty well. We played some games and ate tortas. This zone is a lot different than my other one but I like it a lot. One thing that I have really grown to love in the mission is working with the missionaries. Helping them reach their goals and supporting them in their areas. I am really excited to see what happens these next couple of months here in this zone.

I hope you all have a great week, I love ya all tons and I am really great for all the support you show me.
