Changes

Hey Fam,

Well the time has finally come, I had changes today. I honestly really enjoyed my time en the ward Laureles. I learned so much there and I really met some great people. But my new comp is great and the area is great too.

Im still a zone leader but I am basically on the other side of the mish from where i was. I am actually going to be serving right next to the airport, thats going to be weird. My new comp is great, he is kind of new but he is a really great guy. He is from Tijuana, my second comp from the north. I am excited to work here in this area because there is a lot of work here.

I love you all tons and I hope you all have a great week!!

Love,

Metro y Micro

Hey Fam,

Just want to give a shout out to my family, I love you guys a lot and it was really fun talking to everyone on monday.

Well this past week was pretty interesting. There was an Elder from our zone who got sick this past week and was in the hospital. So my comp and I had to go visit him a couple days to see how he was doing. It was cool but the only thing that was kind of rough is that the hospital is 40 mins from our area. So we spent a lot of time in the metro and the micro. But its was pretty fun because all the traveling made me feel like an AP again.

Things are going really well in the area. We only have two weeks more before changes so my comp and I have been working really hard to take advantage of our time together. We are teaching a really great family right now, they are making a lot of changes in their lives to prepare to accept the gospel the end of this month.

This past week I had a pretty cool experience with the power of prayer. The other day I was with one of the Elders from my zone that hasnt been doing to well lately. As we were in his house I found some things he and his comp shouldnt have. In the moment i was pretty annoyed and kind of angry, I didnt really know what I was going to say to him. So I just prayed in my heart that the Lord would guide me so I could help him. After the prayer I felt calm and I felt prompted to ask him how he is doing and how his family is doing. In that moment he just opened up to me and told that his family hasnt written him and months and that he just feels alone. I was able to just sit there and listen to him while he shared his feelings than after we were able to put goals together to help him and his comp improve.

Honestly I am really grateful for the power of prayer, I have no doubt that our loving Heavenly Father listens to our prayers and answers them too. 2Nefi 32:9 really has helped me understand how to make the correct deciones in my life and in the mission as well.

I Love you all tons and I hope you have a great week!

Todo tranquilo :)

Hey Fam,

We had a pretty crazy week this past week but it was a lot of fun. I completed 6 months in the mish on the 7th, I am feeling pretty old right now jaja.

Friday in the morning we woke up at 5am and went to the church to empty the baptism fount. We had to empty it with buckets, it was really interesting. After we had to go to our leadership council which went really well too. But the past part of the day was after the council because my comp and I had a baptism. The hermana Angela was baptised on Friday and it was a really cool experience. She was really happy after the baptism and so were we :)

On sunday we had a pretty crazy day too. We got up early and we took a family to church which was really awesome. The service was really great, they liked it a lot. But after the services we had to fill up the font with water but the water didn't work...so we had to fill it with buckets. These last couple of weeks here in Mexico have been extremely hot so that was an experience that Ill never forget jaja. But we got it filled 5 mins before our baptism. But it was all worth it because The hermano Bruno was baptised on Sunday. That little kid is so smart, he is only 11 but wow he understands so much.

Things are going really well here in the mish, my comp and I are working really hard and we are learning a lot together. It was really such a great blessings to see Angela and Bruno accept the Gospel this past week, they are so excited and we can already see how the Lord is blessing them. I love the scripture in Ether 12:6, the Lord makes us go through a lot so He can test our faith. But the past part is if we indure He blesses us with what we need.

I have no doubt that this is Gods church and that what we teach as missionaries is true. Its impossible to deny this truth especially after seeing so many people change their lives by accepting the Gospel. I am so grateful to have the Gospel in my life and for my time in the mish.

I love you all so much and I hope you all have a great week :)

Ganas

Hey,

Honestly Sundays are the busiest days in the mission but they are so much fun. This week was really great for us.

We talked to one of our converts Jorge on monday and he told us that he has been sharing the gospel with all his friends and that he is preparing himself to enter the Temple to do baptisms. Also on Sunday he passed the sacrament, he is doing so great. Also Emily and Lesly were confirmed on sunday and they were so excited.

We are teaching some really great families and people right now. We are teaching a 11 kid whos name is Bruno. He is so smart, he is like a grown man stuck in the body of a 11 yeard old. He had his birthday this past week and we bout him one of those future missionary badges. When we gave it to him he just started to cry a little bit. He has had a really rough life but he really loves the gospel. I am really grateful for his example of charity because honestly he is just a great dude. I love Mosiah 3:19 and after getting to know Bruno im starting to understand that scripture  a lot more.

Honestly I really love the mission because I love learning from so many great people. Its amazing to see the sacrifices that people make to live or accept the Gospel. I have never see so much faith from so many people who work everyday to feed their families. But give up working on Sundays because they have more faith in the Lord than their own strength.

I love you all so much and I hope yu all have a great week.
