Power of the Holy Spirit

Hey Fam,

Wow the weeks are just flying by but everyday I learn so much. This week i'm going to complete 13 months...man it makes me feel so weird to know that i am half way done.

This week we had a meeting with president and all the zone leaders. It was actually a really great experience, I really learned a lot. The next day we had our zone class. Our zone is actually pretty small but the missionaries are super great. The time went by super fast, honestly teaching the zone class was a lot easier than having to teach a leadership meeting with all the zone leaders. During the week my comp and I were working really hard. We put a goal to a least try to put a baptismal date every single day. It was a really awesome experience because we started to find a lot of people and we were able to but a couple. Its been tough because we are opening the area but we are starting to see a lot of blessings from our work.

Last week I was fasting for help for some people we are teaching and for new people that we can teach. We went to church in the morning and no one went which was a pretty big bummer. After I felt so tired and i was in those last minutes of my fast and honestly I didn't really want to talk to anyone. But I know that wasn't right so I started to contact, I contacted three people and they all said no. So that kind of sucked but as we were walking I decided to contact one more and she ended up saying yes. We visited her on Saturday and turns the gospel is exactly what she needs. We started to explain about Gods plan for us and the influence of the Savior in our lives. She is 17 but she understood so well the plan and she told us this is exactly what she needs in her life.

It was a really awesome experience for me, it helped give me more strength to keep working hard. When we explained the atonement to her the spirit was so strong and it just filled me with joy. Honestly my time as AP really made me age fast in the mission physically. So I have really learned just how to work more efficiently and by the spirit. I study hard in the morning and plan well at night. So during the day and for every lesson I just say lots of little prayers to receive guidance and I can literally feel and see the spirit doing his part in the work.

I know this church is true and I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father. That His son Jesus Christ came here to save us and that through Him we can receive

strength in whatever situation. Also through the Holy Spirit we can feel peace in this life and we can be guided by our Heavenly Father in every step we take.

Crema de Cacuahute

Hola Fam,

We had a pretty good week this past week. One of the highlights was that the family calendar got here. Thanks so much Nobmann Fam or I guess you could say Mahalo. When I saw that North Shore Peanut butter in the package it had me crying tears of joy jaja. But honestly it was really awesome to get that package and too see all those pics of the fam. Thanks so much!

This week we had a couple really awesome lessons with some really great people. We also had a zone conference, I learned a lot and my comp and I were to put a lot of what we learned in practice during the week. Honestly my comp is a champ. We had to run home one night and he stepped in a little pot hole and rolled his ankle pretty bad. I was pretty worried about him because he could barely walk. But I gave him a blessing and promised him that the Lord would bless us if he didn't take the day off and if he just went to work. So he did it and he suffered a little but we definitely saw a lot of blessings.

I have really noticed in the mish that the Lord will put lots of tests in our path to see what we will do with what we have learned before. But if we keep enduring he will bless us in the end. I really the love the story of Alma and those sons of Mosiah. They went through a lot of trials but in the end they helped so many people accept the Gospel. My comp and I have had a pretty rough time in the area. But we have a lot of faith that if we just keep working hard we will start to see the blessings real soon.

I know this Gospel is true and the The Book of Mormon is the word of God. Its made all the difference in my life and I have seen it change the lives of so many people here. When in doubt, study it out :) BOM.

I love you all and I hope you have a great week.
