Semana Santa

Hey Fam,

Had a pretty long week this past week but I was able to learn a lot. Everything is going well here in Mexico.

This past week we went and worked with the APs and got to work with my old comp Elder Matos again. Not going to lie, I really enjoyed it. We had a couple really great lessons and after we were able to talk and see how we can get better. He is a champ, really do miss having him as a comp.

It was cool because I was able to visit my old area. When I was there we started to teach a little kid who was 10 who cant hear well and as a result cant speak well or read well. A lot of missionaries passed by his house but never taught him because they just focused on his mom. When my comp and I got to the area we went and visited them. We felt the spirit really strong that said we should teach him. So my comp and I just started to draw, act out, and use a picture book to teach him. Honestly it was one of the best experiences in my mish. Well I had changes before his baptism and I wasn't really able to say goodbye but its great because he ended up getting baptised. Well when I was in the area we passed by his house to see him. As we came up to the door and he saw me, he ran up to me and just jumped in my arms and gave me a huge hug. I could help but just cry a little, really made my day.

The best part is that since he has been going to church a lot of people have gotten up and started to share their testimony about the great example he has been for them. I love this story because I learned that if we follow all the promptings of the spirit the Lord will guide and help us help his children.

I know this church is true and i know that every single person needs to hear the gospel and it doesn't matter if they are different or if they have weaknesses because the Lord loves us all equally.

Love,
Elder Nobmann Riddle

Today we played volleyball and ate ice cream out of a piña.
