Baptism Jorge

Hey fam,

This week was really great, we had a lot of cool things happen.

Conference was so great, I loved all the talks and I could really learn a lot. I loved seeing all the love that the apostles and the seventies showed for President Monson. We invited a lot of people to the conferences and they liked it a lot. It was such a spiritual experience and I was able to learn a lot.

On sunday we had the baptism of Jorge and it was so awesome. Honestly it was one of the coolest experiences in my mish. Jorge has had a really rough life, a lot of tough experiences that have made a big impact on his life. But this past month he has really changed his life around. The best part is is that his boss in his work is a member of the church. Jorge began investigating the church because of the example of his boss. So when Jorge decided to get baptised we asked him if he wanted his boss to do the baptism and he just started to cry and said yes. It was a really cool experience. I actually ended up singing a musical number with the sister missionaries at the baptism, surprisingly it  went really well.

What I really learned this week is the power of an example. When we truly learn to become more like our Savior Jesus Christ a big change takes place inside of us. Jorge has been a big example in my life because he literally dropped everything to follow the example of Jesus and as a result received lots of blessings. This all started because he saw the example of his boss. I know this church is true and it truly changes people's lives. I know that our Heavenly father loves us so much and all he wants is for us is eternal life. Jesus taught that we are the light of this world and I know that light comes through living the principles of this gospel.

I love you all tons and I hope you have a great week :)
